Wallet Management

Danbot links your Telegram account to a Solana wallet address. This is used to attribute SOL transfers when you top up ad credits for your groups, verify activity, and manage your account.

Only your public wallet address is stored — your private keys or seed phrases are never required and should never be shared.

All wallet management is conducted in a private chat with @OG_danbot.

🔐 Registering a Wallet​

Registering your wallet is a one-time setup that links your public Solana address to your account.

  1. Open a private chat with @OG_danbot.
  2. Navigate to 💤 My Account → 🦎 Manage Wallet.
  3. Tap Register Wallet.
  4. Send your Solana wallet public address in the chat.

Danbot will confirm registration immediately. Your wallet is now linked and ready for credit top-ups and verification.

Security Reminder

Only share your public address (e.g., 7xKXtg2CW87d97TXJSDpbD5jBkheTqA83TZRuJosgAsU). Never share your private key or seed phrase with anyone, including Danbot.

👁️ Viewing Your Wallet​

You can check your linked wallet details at any time:

  1. Open the Manage Wallet menu.
  2. Tap View Wallet.

This displays your full registered address, your current SOL balance, and provides a direct link to view the wallet on Solscan.

🔄 Changing Your Wallet​

If you need to switch to a different wallet (e.g., if you've moved funds to a new address):

  1. Open the Manage Wallet menu.
  2. Tap Change Wallet.
  3. Send your new Solana wallet address in the chat.

The new address replaces the previous one immediately. Any future ad credit top-ups must be sent from this new address.

Note

Changing your wallet does not affect any credits already purchased for your groups — those remain safely in the group's balance.

❌ Disconnecting Your Wallet​

If you wish to remove your wallet address from Danbot entirely:

  1. Open the Manage Wallet menu.
  2. Tap Disconnect.
  3. Confirm when prompted.

Your wallet address will be removed from the system. You can register a new one at any time.

📂 Supported Wallets​

Danbot supports any Solana wallet that allows you to copy your public address, including:

  • Phantom
  • Solflare
  • Backpack
  • Hardware Wallets (Ledger, etc.)

You register by simply pasting the address directly into the chat; no direct app-to-app connection or "signing" is required for basic registration.
