AI Response & Topic Modes
Danbot is highly configurable, allowing you to tailor its personality and behavior to match the specific needs of your community or individual topics within a group.
🎭 AI Personality Style
Each group can have its own unique "vibe" by setting a global personality style.
/style
Controls the tone and energy level of Danbot's replies.
/style — List all available personality styles
/style <id> — Set a specific style for this group
Common Styles Include:
- Hype: High energy, emoji-rich, perfect for marketing and moon-talk.
- Informational: Clear, concise, and professional.
- Supportive: Empathetic and helpful.
- Roast: Sarcastic and witty (use with caution!).
🏢 Topic Modes (Supergroups Only)
In Telegram supergroups with topics enabled, you can set independent behaviors for each topic thread.
/mode
Sets the operational mode for the current topic.
/mode chat — Normal conversational mode (Default).
/mode welcome — Focuses on welcoming new members; reduced chat noise.
/mode silent — Danbot will not respond to chat, but security filters remain active.
/mode support — Knowledge base Q&A mode.
Use silent for announcement channels to prevent bot clutter, and support for dedicated help threads.
/listmodes
Displays a summary of all configured modes across your group's topics.
📚 Knowledge Base Support
If a topic is set to support mode, Danbot can act as an automated help desk using your own project documentation.
/loadkb
Loads custom data into the group's local brain.
/loadkb <URL or text>
Provide a URL to a text document/website or paste content directly. You can also send the command while attaching a PDF, Word (.docx), or Text file.
Members can then ask questions in the support topic, and Danbot will answer based strictly on the provided knowledge base.
